The HMS Media Center offers several on-line services to provide students access to magazines, newspapers and encyclopedias on the web. We are pleased to inform you that all of these databases may be accessed from school and at home. |

Explore more than 200 countries. In this subscription database, you will find country profiles and overviews, history, important statistics about population, climate, economics, culture, biographies, influential organizations, primary source documents, maps, flags, and photos.
Use this database to find over 25,000 entries in the Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, full-text articles in over 145 magazines, plus newspaper articles. Health Source also provides full text for nearly 190 journals, and several professional collections may be searched, as well.

Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia
Contains links to the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia,which is a valuable resource "containing thousands of new and expanded articles, extensive hyperlinks, bibliographies and links to other sources of information on the Web.” It is updated monthly. Links are also provided for The New Book of Knowledge Online and Encyclopedia Americana.
