Global Warming is when the Earth’s atmosphere temperature increases primarily due to pollution of the air. Fossil fuels get trapped into the Earth’s atmosphere from car exhaust, excessive electricity use, and other human influenced activities. These emissions create a large heat layer over the Earth, gradually increasing its temperature.

 

As a result of the polar ice caps melting, ocean levels rise causing flooding. In addition, the warmer waters of the ocean will create a numerous amount of hurricanes. Due to this temperature increase, animals in Arctic habitats, such as the polar bear, will eventually become extinct as their habitats are destroyed.
