The Guidance Department, which provides educational, vocational, and personal help to students throughout the year, plays a key role in the course selection process. Guidance Department activities include:
· Orientation sessions for all students (high school and middle) and their parents to explain the high school program of studies;
· Individual conferences where counselors meet with students and develop an appropriate program of studies;
· Adjustment of student schedules if a conflict occurs;
· If courses are over enrolled, criteria for entrance may include attendance and grades.
