Some tips to a successful paper:
1.
Use media center time for book research. Websites can be found at home.
2. Take notes by using a notebook.
3. Be sure to take bibliographic information down as you take notes.
4. Do not highlight photocopied material. Periodic notebook checks will be
made in the next couple of weeks.
Details of The Project 2 Days of Sampling (Oct.13th and 14th)
|
Each day, pairs of students will pick from a deck of "Aspect Cards" and explore whatever information the card has on it.
For example, one Aspect Card may read: Each
student will answer the questions on an answer sheet.
At the end of each day, 2 answer sheets (two aspects) will be collected. |
|
Students will now do an in-depth study on a Victorian topic.
Writing a Research Paper
Write a research paper using at least 3 books and many websites. Use MLA style. (see handout for specifications)
The paper will be due on November 8, 2004.
