Bad Veggiewockies

'Twas lettuce and tomato

Did spoil rotten in the basket

All ruined was the red potato

And tossed in the silver casket

"Beware the bad veggies, my son!

The taste that stinks, the scent that reeks!

Beware the repulsion and vomiting done,

The horror that you reach!"

He took his car keys in his hand,

Long time in traffic he fought.

So upset he by the loud horns

And sore his head in thought.

And as in the parking lot he stood,

The moment break the rise of hunger.

He sauntered toward the door of wood

And found he could want no longer.

Next Costumer, next costumer, almost done,

The wait in line went just as planned.

He ordered next and waited none

And now a Big Mac he held in hand.

And has thou enjoyed thy meal?

Alas the wait was well worth.

This burgers quite the steal,

Better then rotten veggies of thy Earth.

‘Twas lettuce and tomato

Did spoil rotten in the basket

All ruined was the red potato

And tossed in the silver casket.
