A. Where are you? What is the environment like? What resources do you have? How do these things affect your culture?
* B. What is the society like? What kind(s) of people are there? Are they happy? How do people become a part of your society? What kinds of families are there? What are they like? What do they do? What are their attitudes towards others in the society? What are their attitudes towards others outside of the society?
C. What does the culture do for the people in the society? Does it take care of them? How? Why or why not? Are there hospitals? Is there insurance? Is there care for the elderly, homeless or people with disablilites? If there are police, what are they and their jobs like? Are there unemployment or welfare programs? Is child care provided?
D. How do people communicate? Will people be allowed to get together in groups? Can there be protests? What languages(s) exists? Are there newspapers, magazines, television,radio? Are there computers or phones? Is there a mail system? Are there rules about any of these?
E. What will clothing be like? Is there only one style? Are fads allowed? Can any one person decide what everyone will wear? Are there uniforms for anyone? What will clothes be made out of? Please give examples. Will everyone have enough? How will people get clothes?
F. What kinds of food will there be? Where will the food come from? Why will you have those particular foods and not others? How will you eat? Will there be restaurants? Will everyone have enough to eat?
*G. What kind of government will there be? Is there one? Is it simple or complicated? Is it written down? How does it affect society? How much are the people involved in it? How much say does it have over each person's life? Who runs it? What are some of the important laws and consequences? Is there a military? If there is a military, who is in charge and how does it work?
H. What are some of the customs in your society? If there are holidays, what are they and how are they celebrated? How are birthdays handled? How do people greet each other? How do their customs affect their behavior? Is there religion? What is it like and who is in control?
*I. How will people teach the culture to their children? If there are schools, who will run them? Who will decide what should be taught in schools? What would be taught and who would teach it? If you don't have schools, how will the children be taught the things they need to know? What would education be like? What kinds of rules would there be? What would graduation or diploma requirements be?
J. What level of technology would there be? Describe it. How will affect society? How will it affect the daily lives of the people?
K. Will there be a money system? Why or why not? If there is a money system, what would it be like? What will it be used for? How will it be controlled and by whom? How will people get it? If there are places to store money, what will they be like and how will people use them? What will people need to use their money for? If there is not a money system, how will people get the things they need?
L. Will there be different status levels in society? Why or why not? If there are different levels, what will they be? What will make some people better than others? Can status change and how?
M. How will the health of the society be? Will many people be ill? What are some of the illnesses and/or diseases that affect the people? Is there a health care system? If there is a system, how does it work? Who are the doctors and how did they get to be doctors? How do people get help when they are ill? Are there people who are trying to find cures for diseases and illnesses? How are people trying to find cures? What is society's attitude toward people who are sick?
N. Do people have leisure time? If they do, how much and how do they spend it? If there are sports, what kind are there? How are leisure activities set up and operate? Who runs leisure activities? What will entertainment be like? Will there be movies and/or television? Who will control them? What kinds of shows will there be? Will leisure activities be different for adults and children? Are people allowed to choose their own activities? Are art and music activities available? Are there games? Who controls activities? Where are activities held?
*O. What are some of the social issues in your culture? Why are they issues? Is there prejudice or discrimination? Are drugs legal or illegal and why? Are there substances that are abused and how is that handled? Is there birth control and how is that handled? Is there violence towards different groups (ex. children, women, black people, gay people, etc.)? If so , what is being done about it? Does every person have all she/he needs? Who makes decisions about social issues? How do people hear about social issues? If they are allowed to discuss social issues, how does that take place? How do social issues affect people's daily lives? What control do people have to make decisions about these issues?
