Scrapbooking

To make a scrapbook that will last for years, you will need acid-free and lignent-free paper.  These substances are found in magnetic photo albums, which turn pictures yellow and faded over time.  We also took some pictures on the digital camera to give you an idea of how pictures that are related can look different because of slight changes.  These may be used in making a page in your scrapbook, because they all share the same theme or subject.

The above pictures are of ordinary things that may not seem to have much of a purpose, but each one was taken at a different angle and if you look closely, you can see the shadows extending at different diagonals because the light from the windows and lights were shining on the objects from a certain view. Pictures of objects like this are considered art, and you may be suprised to find pieces like this in any art museum.

When scrapbooking, try to keep each page on a certain theme.  You may have a book dedicated to family vacations, and each page could be a different vacation that your family doesn't ever want to forget.  You could use the same ideas involving school field trips, birthday parties, or sports games and activities.  Set your pictures up on the page in a collage or any way you want them before applying them.  The best way to do this is to use adhesive tape that is also picture safe, which you may find in any craft store.  Add color to your page, and don't forget to write who is in the pictures, where, when, and what you are doing.
