Weather-Related Cancellations/Delays/Early Dismissals
From time to time, the school day needs to be cancelled, delayed, or dismissed early. Here are the primary ways to find out if the school day has been altered.
1. District Website: www.milforded.org
The Milford Public Schools will immediately post a message on the home page under "Latest News" if there is going to be a change in the standard school day hours. We HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you go there first to find an immediate answer when the weather is questionable.
2. TV/Radio Stations
Tune in to the following radio and/or television stations and watch/listen for any news about the Milford Public Schools. The district uses the following stations to post this information:
RADIO: WICC, WEZN, WAVZ, and WPLR
TV: WTNH, WVIT, News Channel 12
Please AVOID calling the school for closing information as it is important that we keep the phone lines open for emergency services.

A recorded message will be available with any news of an altered school day after 6:15 a.m.
