World Culture Club
The Foran High World Culture Club will meet THIS Friday during Common Time. This will be an informational and planning meeting for all members. If you love learning about the different cultures of the world and sampling their food, then join us in Mrs. Sheppard's room during Common Time this Friday. See Mrs. Sheppard for a pass.
A meeting will be held for all student athletes interested in trying out for the boys’ basketball team. The boys’ basketball meeting will be held in the gym THIS Wednesday, at 6 pm. All student athletes in attendance will have the opportunity to meet the coach and receive important information regarding the upcoming boys basketball season.
Letterman Jacket orders will be taken on Monday, October 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in Mr. Vitelli's office. Please see Mr. Vitelli to see if you qualify. Forms are available outside of his office.
The boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Milford Invitational this past weekend. The girls swept every team, taking down Lauralton Hall, Law, and Platt Tech. The girl’s team was led by Catie Stiffler with the time of 22:53. Maggie Cummings, Jenna French, and Emma Cote all came into the finish line under 24 minutes - helping the lions take the win. The boy’s team succumbed to Law but beat Platt Tech. The boys charge was led by Kevin Preneta, who took first place with the time of 17:24. Nate Garafano and Mike Melillo pushed in under the 21 minute marker. Each team is competing against Law, Amity and Lyman Hall Tuesday afternoon at Eisenhower Park. Come cheer them on!
