Thank you for visiting our school website. Calf Pen Meadow School is a grades 3-5 elementary school in Milford, CT. We are very proud of our busy learning community!
In our school, students have access to an engaging and differentiated instructional program that is aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Our faculty works to ensure that all children can successfully meet the expectations of the curriculum so that all students can achieve to their fullest potential.
Our core instructional program is enhanced by student exploration in the arts, music, physical education and library media technology. Our continuous professional learning helps us to meet the dynamic and ever-evolving demands of educating students in the 21st century. We are committed to fostering the development of the whole child. Our support staff of interventionists, instructional coaches, school social workers, related services providers, school psychologist and school nurse are all valued members of the team who work to ensure that all children receive what they each need to best learn and grow, behaviorally, socially, emotionally and academically.

Our mission statement is intended to reflect our core values. Our School Continuous Improvement Plan has focus area goals that ensure that all children have access to a rigorous learning program that is tailored to respect individual readiness levels and needs. Another goal central to our School Continuous Improvement Plan centers on providing a safe and supportive environment for our learning community. The partnership we strive to foster and the deep and caring relationships we aim to forge with our students, their families and our greater community is foundational to this work. We are appreciative of our active and involved PTA which contributes in a positive and productive manner by collaborating with us to enrich students' school life. It is our belief that to find success in meeting the needs of all learners we must foster relationships with each child, his/her family and we must engage in this partnership for the good of the child together.
