-Using your notes from the reading in class on Babylonia and Assyria (pages 86-93), write a paragraph answering the question "Would you rather live in Babylonia or Assyria?" Choose 3 specific details and explain why.
-Use the rubric and sentence starter sheet provided in class for grading
-If you do not finish by the end of class on Wednesday, it is homework due on Thursday 1-4-18
-This will count as a class grade.

Otzi the Iceman 5 paragraph essay is due December 6, 2017. Please use your notes, articles, and websites to help you cite evidence. All requirements and graphic organizers were passed out in class and are available on Google classroom. You will complete one paragraph in class using the organizer and will then type it for homework. You must bring in or send me your typed paragraph so you can peer edit in class.

Monday - Thursday: Study for geography quiz

Wednesday - Finish the final copy of the map of the country you created in class. Be sure you have included all of the requirements on the rubric. Map is due Thursday 9/28

Our class has been learning about 9/11 and why it is an important day in U.S. history. We have learned about Author's Purpose (PIE) and how to use the RACE strategy when responding to a question. Oral history interviews are due 9/13. We will begin learning about geography as we explore our desk atlas this week in class.
