Harborside Middle School's Mission Statement

Community ~ Academics ~ Respect ~ Engagement

Harborside Middle School fosters each student's individual potential to learn in a safe and rigorous environment.  Students develop their individual talents, critical thinking, and technology skills by being actively engaged in the learning process.  We value and promote respect, responsibility, community and acceptance among all members of our school.

Harborside Middle School's Value System

Our Value System was established and implemented to provide a safe and orderly environment for all and to establish and maintain a community that supports, promotes, and teaches expected behaviors.  Additionally, the system helps to ensure a learning environment conducive to student learning.  Harborside Middle School implements PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) throughout the classroom, cafeteria, hallways, school grounds and bus.  To view or print our Value System document at full size, click the icon in the upper left.
