Unit Objectives:

1) Students will learn and properly demonstrate the rules of the track and field events: mile run, 100 meter run, 400 meter run, 4x 100 relay, long jump, and shot put.  

2) Students will display effort, safety, and proper technique for the shot put, long jump, and running events.

3) Students will be able to practice their respective events, track their progress, and compete against their peers.
