Unit Objectives:

1) Students will learn the rules of the volleyball serve. They will be able to properly demonstrate the underhand serving technique.

2) Students will be able to properly demonstrate the forearm pass and overhead set. They will be able to assist their partners’ skill performances and give them corrective feedback if needed.

3) Students will learn/demonstrate the (rally) scoring rules of volleyball. They will be able to develop effective game strategies while participating in a variety of volleyball lead-up games.

4) Students will properly demonstrate previously learned rules, skills, and strategies in a modified volleyball game. They will be able to display successful game strategies and skill performances in a game setting.
