Unit Objectives:

1) Students will properly demonstrate stick-handling by safely maintaining control of a ball or puck. They will be able to assist their partners in a series of stick-handling drills, and give them corrective feedback if needed.

2) Students will properly demonstrate stick-handling and striking skills in a variety of lead-up games and activities. They will be able to develop effective offensive and defensive strategies used in floor hockey.

3) Students will properly demonstrate previously learned rules, skills, and strategies in a modified game of floor hockey. They will be able to safely display successful game strategies and skill performances in a game setting.
