The Board of Education has begun a Long Range Planning Study of the Milford Public Schools.  This study was prompted by substantiated reports of our projected enrollment decline over the next decade and will consider the entire school district, grades PK-12.  To help guide this work, we have hired the firm of Milone & MacBroom, Inc., a highly respected and expert consulting firm in the field of educational and facility planning.

The Long Range Planning Committee  is comprised of teachers, parents, administrators, BOE members, Aldermen, and other local citizens.  The goal of the Long Range Planning Committee is to provide recommendations, looking five (5) to ten (10) years out, for the design of a school system that reflects the Board's vision, in light of declining enrollment while taking into consideration budget, facilities, resources, and educational programs.

To ensure a continuous, open, and transparent communication with the community, we have created a dedicated Long Range Planning section on our website.  Please click here to be directed to this new page.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we embark upon this monumental review of our school district.
