Smooth, progressive, self-enhancement movements of Qigong, like the flowing movements of Tai Chi Easy, are designed to discover, gather, and dissolve Qi, the vital energy of the universe. Our goal is to attain calm and reduce stress as we release the healing elixir within. This medical tradition comes to us from a profound Chinese cultural legacy thousands of years old. Celebrate the health benefits derived from deep breathing, good posture, and mental focus. Deceptively easy, Qigong is self-empowering. Qi classes conclude with tea. Dr. Jason R. Jenkins holds degrees in Nutritional Science and Chiropractic Medicine from the University of Delaware and University of Bridgeport. He’s a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Personal Trainer, member of the Society for Weight Training Injury Specialists, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Aerobics and Fitness Assoc. of America, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He was a member of the medical team at the 2000 and 2001 New York City Marathons, the 2001 Connecticut State Nutmeg Games, is currently in private practice in Milford and is a faculty member at Norwalk Community College.
