Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Milford Public Schools website! We hope you find the information located here to be helpful and interesting. Great things are happening throughout our district and we will be using this website to share that information with you.In Milford, there are 7,600 students attending our 15 public schools. We have nine schools at the elementary level (PK-5), three middle schools (6-8), two traditional high schools (9-12), and one alternative high school. Each one provides an outstanding education for Milford's youth while reflecting the needs and traditions of each school's surrounding neighborhood. We believe that every student can learn and be successful. The challenge that comes with that, however, is the fact that there are as many ways to learn as there are children! It is our commitment to reach each and every child in the way he or she learns best. Combined with a high level of expectation and deliberate, collaborative parent involvement, students will continue to be engaged in their work and will develop a love of learning - for life. To learn more about our school system, individual schools or the specific programs and services provided, please continue your visit here on our website. There are hundreds of resources we believe you will find helpful. Sincerely yours,
Harvey B. Polansky, Ph.D.
